 ABOUT THE ROLE

Client is looking for a senior sales leader who can open doors, build relationships, and close high-value deals across our Digital Engineering, AI Solutions, and Technology Services portfolio. This is a pure hunter position: your primary mandate is landing new logos and expanding into untapped buying centers within strategic accounts.

You’ll work across the full sales cycle—from identifying opportunities and shaping solutions with our pre-sales and delivery teams, to negotiating contracts and driving revenue. The right candidate combines deep IT services sales expertise with a genuine understanding of AI/ML, cloud, and modern engineering—and knows how to translate that knowledge into client value.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Originate and close new business across Digital Engineering, AI/ML, Cloud, Data, and Application Services with enterprise and upper-mid-market clients.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans that map stakeholder landscapes, identify whitespace, and create multi-year growth trajectories.
  • Build trusted relationships with CXOs, VPs of Engineering, CTOs, and other technology decision-makers within target accounts.
  • Partner with pre-sales, solution architects, and delivery leadership to shape differentiated proposals and AI-led digital transformation offerings.
  • Collaborate with marketing and lead generation to build qualified pipeline; own pipeline coverage and conversion targets.
  • Maintain rigorous CRM hygiene, accurate forecasting, and transparent pipeline reporting.
  • Represent Client at industry conferences, executive roundtables, and client workshops to build brand presence and generate demand.
  • Stay current on AI trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging technologies to sharpen positioning and uncover new opportunities.
  • Sell across engagement models including managed services, project-based delivery, offshore/nearshore, and staff augmentation.

Requirements:

  • 15+ years of progressive IT services sales experience with a consistent record of exceeding quota.
  • Demonstrated success hunting and closing large, complex deals ($1M+ TCV) in a consultative selling environment.
  • Background at either larger service organizations and mid-tier services firm (e.g., Persistent, Hexaware, Happiest Minds, LTIMindTree, LTTS, Mphasis, Coforge, or similar).
  • Established network of CXO-level relationships in two or more of: Financial Services, FinTech, Insurance, Retail/eCommerce, Hi-Tech, Manufacturing, Logistics, or Media.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. MBA is a plus.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong working knowledge of AI/ML services, cloud transformation (AWS/Azure/GCP), application modernization, and digital engineering.
  • Experience working in a partnership model with Hyperscalers, Data platforms and/or Enterprise software
  • Fluency with offshore and nearshore delivery models, including pricing, governance, and risk management.
  • Excellent executive communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent) and modern sales-enablement tools.
