Job summary:

Acrisure is seeking a Safety Professional to provide safety consulting and risk management support for Barragan Corp International. This role is responsible for helping create and maintain safe construction job sites by conducting inspections, identifying potential hazards, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting a proactive culture of workplace safety.

The Safety Professional partners with project teams, field personnel, and leadership to develop safety initiatives, investigate incidents, deliver employee training, and implement corrective actions that reduce risk and support successful project execution. The ideal candidate has strong construction safety experience, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping others work safely.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine job site safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and educational programs for employees and project teams
  • Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions
  • Monitor compliance with OSHA regulations and applicable federal, state, and local safety requirements
  • Evaluate job site activities, equipment, and work practices to promote a safe working environment
  • Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and reinforce safe work practices
  • Prepare safety reports, inspection findings, and compliance documentation for leadership
  • Support emergency preparedness planning and incident response activities
  • Participate in safety committee meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of construction safety experience required
  • OSHA 30 certification required
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety best practices required
  • Experience conducting safety inspections, audits, incident investigations, and hazard assessments required
  • Experience developing and delivering safety training programs beneficial
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with project teams
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office required
  • Understanding of emergency response procedures and workplace safety standards beneficial

Education and licenses:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Additional education in Occupational Safety, Construction Management, Environmental Health and Safety, or a related field beneficial

Pay Details:

The base compensation range for this position is $80,000 - $92,000. This range reflects Acrisure's good faith estimate at the time of this posting. Placement within the range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity.

Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
