Job description

Sequoia Connect Job Opportunity

In Sequoia Connect, we are a Talent-First Technological Ecosystem that redefines the interaction between elite professionals and the global corporate landscape. We act as a catalyst for the top 1% of talent, connecting human potential with complex industrial and technological executions. By joining our elite network, you do not simply occupy a position; you align with a strategic partner dedicated to updating your "Human OS" and accelerating your growth through world-class, high-impact projects. Currently, we collaborate with a leading organization in smart home and building automation solutions in Mexico, dedicated to transforming residential and commercial spaces into intelligent, secure, and highly efficient environments. With more than 12 years of experience in advanced automation projects, this client redefines the standards of digital construction through unified monitoring and control systems in a single mobile application, promoting energy savings and enhancing user comfort experience.

This is your opportunity to join a team committed to constant innovation and accelerated technological learning. You will work on the design and deployment of cutting-edge technologies that directly impact sustainability and the future of digital real estate. If you are a professional passionate about the Internet of Things (IoT), infrastructure automation, and seek a dynamic and challenging environment where your technical growth is the priority, this is where you belong.

Responsibilities
  • Programming and Logic: Develop functional and robust control sequences using Niagara Workbench (N4) and block logic (Wire sheet) for the efficient operation of HVAC equipment.
  • Systems Integration: Perform integration and communication diagnosis of devices using standard protocols (BACnet, Modbus) towards client-server architectures (Niagara Supervisor).
  • Advanced Troubleshooting: Methodically diagnose and resolve complex faults in the control network, field variables, and Niagara database (advanced management of Points, Alarms, and Histories).
  • HMI Development: Configure and customize professional and operable graphical environments for the end user (supported by basic notions of CSS/JavaScript).
  • Education: Engineering in Automation, Control, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field (more value will be placed on demonstrable technical experience than the title).
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience executing or leading automation projects with the Niagara 4 platform (not just as a passive participant).
Critical Technical Knowledge
  • Solid mastery of the Niagara 4 environment (Workbench and JACEs and Supervisor).
  • Deep understanding of HVAC mechanical systems (Air Handlers - AHU, Chillers, Cooling Towers, Fan & Coils) and their respective control sequences (PID loops, start/stop logics).
  • Functional knowledge of data networks (IP addressing, subnets) and connectivity (VPNs) focused on BMS communication.
Desirable
  • Certification: Official Niagara 4 TCP certification issued by Tridium or an authorized center (highly desirable / non-exclusive if senior domain is demonstrated in the technical evaluation).
Languages
  • Technical English: Ability to read and understand technical documentation and specifications.
  • Native Spanish.
Note
  • Remote.
