Job description

Personalize with Precision: Become a Monogram Associate, turning leather goods into lasting keepsakes!
The warehouse location is NOT on a convenient bus line so you will need other reliable transportation.
Job purpose 
The Monogram Associate will perform heat-press generated monogramming on leather goods and accessories. This position does not require previous experience with a debossing machine, but the ideal candidate will have an artistic inclination and is familiar with font placement. This position is suited for someone with a keen eye for detail and quality of finished product. Previous experience with foil stamping or clicker presses will be helpful, but not necessary. The best candidate will be able to work independently and efficiently in a positive, deadline-driven, team-player environment. Other duties may include picking/packing customer orders and prepping monogram items to ship as needed. 
Duties and responsibilities 

  • Monogramming leather goods and accessories using a heat-press machine. 
  • Monogram preparation to include unpacking the items, selecting the correct letters/font style/foil color, and reviewing the monogram placement. 
  • Packing and re-packing customer orders. 
  • Picking customer orders. 
  • Receiving and inventory control. 
  • Auditing orders picked and monogram preparation. 
  • Other warehouse duties as needed and required in the warehouse. 

 
Qualifications 

  • Must know how to read a ruler and measure properly. 
  • Must have a keen eye to center and straight lines. 
  • Ability to perform precise and detailed work while minimizing mistakes when monogramming.  
  • Attention to detail reading customer orders to pick or to prep for monogram. 
  • High School diploma or equivalent.  
  • Must be flexible to work 6 days per week during the peak season beginning October through January or as business dictates. 
  • Basic knowledge of computers. 
  • High level of patience is preferred. 


Working conditions 
The employee will normally work in a temperature-controlled environment but may have periods working in a non-temperature-controlled area. The employee will be working with equipment containing a heat element which when touched incorrectly can cause burns.
