Role Overview
Role: SAP Ariba Integration Consultant
Location: Bellevue, Washington (Onsite)
Fulltime/Contract
Rate- 100 USD- Please be flexible
The SAP Ariba Integration Consultant is responsible for creating and managing integration solutions that connect SAP Ariba with SAP ECC and other non-SAP systems like Oracle EPPM Unifier. The role primarily uses SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and its Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG) layer to ensure seamless data exchange across platforms.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Analyze Business Requirements: Understand and develop integration architectures to connect SAP Ariba with SAP ECC and external systems.
  2. Design Integration Flows: Utilize SAP BTP's capabilities, especially the CIG layer, to facilitate reliable data exchange.
  3. Develop and Deploy Integrations: Configure and deploy integration scenarios using SAP BTP tools and API calls.
  4. Implement API Integrations: Use RESTful and SOAP-based APIs to support Ariba's interfacing with non-SAP systems.
  5. Collaborate with Teams: Work with cross-functional teams to map data flows and align business processes with technical solutions.
  6. Conduct Testing: Perform comprehensive testing (unit, integration, and end-to-end) to validate integration performance and accuracy.
  7. Monitor and Optimize: Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations for efficiency.
  8. Troubleshoot Issues: Resolve integration issues promptly and provide ongoing support and maintenance.
  9. Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including design documents, process flows, and user guides.
  10. Compliance: Ensure integration solutions comply with security standards, data governance policies, and industry best practices.
  11. Stakeholder Communication: Provide updates and technical guidance during project meetings and client interactions.
Technical Expertise
  • Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience in SAP integrations, particularly with SAP Ariba and SAP ECC.
  • Proficiency: Skilled in using SAP BTP, focusing on the CIG layer for integration projects.
  • API Development: Experienced in developing and integrating APIs (REST/SOAP) for connecting Ariba to non-SAP systems like Oracle EPPM Unifier.
