Milacron is looking for a 3rd shift Grinder to join our team in McPherson, KS. As a Grinder you will be responsible for...
Work You'll Do:
  • Verify correct product using job traveler.
  • Set-up and operate a Grinder machine to blueprint specifications.
  • Select and change Grinding wheel to achieve appropriate finish for screws
  • Monitor machine performance and perform preventative maintenance to assure continuity of production.
  • Monitor and ensure all fluid levels are maintained on all equipment.
  • Monitor inventory levels and report low levels and discrepancies to supervisor.
  • Must use precision measuring tools specific to job.

Team:
A team of approximately 10 grinders working during all 3 shifts.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Basic math skills required, advanced preferred; general computer skills; knowledge and understanding of various measuring devices.
  • 1 to 3 years of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED is preferred.
  • Technical school w/certificate is preferred.
