Your role
Position Summary
This role supports the North America Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process for Food & Beverages with a primary focus on Supply Planning. The position translates the approved demand plan into an executable supply plan by balancing customer service targets with inventory, manufacturing capacity, and material constraints. Partnering closely with Operations, Production Planning, Customer Service, Procurement, and Logistics, this role drives supply feasibility, resolves constraints, and improves service, inventory health, and responsiveness across the network.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead the monthly S&OP Supply Review for NA Food & Beverage and serve as a key connection point between Operations and Commercial teams to confirm supply feasibility and align on decisions.
  • Develop and refresh inventory scenarios using capacity, lead times, yields, and material availability; identify constraints, quantify impacts (service, inventory, cost), and recommend mitigation actions.
  • Partner with Production Planning, Manufacturing, QC, and Procurement to align the supply plan with capacity, labor, changeovers, quality release timelines, and material readiness.
  • Manage short-term supply response: prioritize orders when constrained, recommend allocation strategies, and coordinate expedites or plan changes to protect customer commitments.
  • Review and analyze supply plan changes (capacity, materials, inventory, lead times), identify risks/opportunities, and provide mitigation proposals and decision-ready recommendations.
  • Own supply planning deliverables to convert the consensus forecast into an executable supply plan (e.g., production plan/MPS inputs, inventory targets & safety stock, and SKU/location constraint alignment).
  • Integrate Giraffe Foods business into the NA F&B S&OP cadence, including Demand Review, Supply Review, capacity planning and CAPEX planning/spend visibility.
  • Establish and maintain inventory policies (safety stock, reorder points, and target coverage) by SKU/location and recommend adjustments based on variability, lead time, and service objectives.
  • Close collaboration with Customer Service, Production Planning, QC, Production and Logistics to drive efficient inventory level and on time delivery.
  • Partner with Inventory Manager to identify risks of SLOBs and mitigate excess/obsolete inventory
  • Support new item launches and customer onboarding from a supply planning perspective by confirming capacity/material readiness, setting initial inventory targets, and aligning production and lead times to meet customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team to drive the overall management and execution Supply Chain projects like Inventory Task Force, Safety stock, forecast improvement, and reporting.
  • Prepare supply performance reporting and KPIs (e.g., service level/OTIF, schedule adherence, inventory health), identify root causes, and coordinate corrective actions.
  • Support the Supply Chain and Operations teams in any relevant reporting needs

About you
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, or similar fields. Flavor and/or FMCG or related industry is an added advantage.
  • 5+ years of experience within Demand Planning or Supply Chain Planning.
  • 3+ years of experience with S&OP
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in supply planning concepts (MRP/MPS, capacity planning, lead times, inventory policies) with an understanding of financial and operational impacts.
  • Self-motivated, strongly disciplined and ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills, sound judgement and drive for excellence.
  • Strong understanding of SAP and/or software related to supply planning/production planning is an added advantage.
  • Experience with BI tools (MicroStrategy, Tableau) are preferred.
  • Experience developing and managing SQL databases a plus (Alteryx, Access)

Pay Transparency Disclosure: The expected annual salary range for this position is USD 90000.00 - USD 105000.00. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
