What is a Metadata Internship Remote?

A Metadata Internship Remote is an internship position that focuses on the organization, categorization, and management of metadata for digital assets, and is completed remotely rather than in an office. Interns in this role typically work with metadata standards, assist with data entry, support digital asset management systems, and ensure that content is accurately described and easy to find. This experience helps students or recent graduates gain practical skills in data management, information science, and digital archiving, all while working from home. Remote metadata internships are common in industries such as media, libraries, archives, and technology companies.
