Job Description:

WilsonartinTemple, Texashas an opening for an Inventory Coordinator III, grade 4

The Temple Shipping office currently has an opening for an Inventory Coordinator III, grade 4. This individual will perform the clerical duties of the Melamine, Phenolic and Assembly cells. Perform other tasks as needed. Standard hours are day shift, Monday through Friday. Must be flexible to adjust hours and work all inventory

events. Must work appropriate over time hours as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Inventory - Perform Cycle Counts and audits - Deco and Phenolic Rolls (receive, enter, and reconcile variances).
  • Inventory - Perform Cycle Counts and audits - Patt Rack and Assembly
  • Inventory Adjustments - Inventory reconciliation for HP and LP chemicals and roll inventory. (Monthly)
  • Review all end of month physical inventory results for successful completion. Ensure all processes are finished.
  • Assist with slow moving disposition (SLOB) when needed.
  • Work with the color lab & purchasing regarding defective roll inventory transactions
  • Support accounting team with annual 3rd party audit for raw materials / sub-assembly inventory.
  • Extract system reports, put into spreadsheets and send to supervisors & managers (requires Tableau) (Monthly)
  • Accountable and responsible for all inventory adjustments/transactions within the department.
  • Performs other position appropriate duties as required in a competent, professional and courteous manner.
  • Ability to navigate a fast-paced environment with extreme accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to research transactional history and perform problem resolution
  • Assists Team Leads/Supervisors with inventory discrepancies.
  • Assists Team Leads/Supervisors with transactional disciplineReview and close cell WIP jobs daily (Phenolic, Melamine, Assembly, Finished Goods and Low Pressure).

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Perform transactions accurately in multiple programs, (RF-Gen, Oracle - R12/10.7, Access and Excel).
  • Knowledge of safety standards applicable Wilsonart and other pertinent rules/regulations governing work standards.
  • Ability to perform multiple priorities.
  • Ability to use basic mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally in oral and written forms.
  • Ability to review and interpret data and visual reports to track and evaluate KPIs.
  • Applicant must have knowledge of basic inventory control principles to maintain business objectives with high customer service levels.
  • Competent computer skills sufficient to utilize email, spreadsheets, databases and proper file.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: 30 semester hours of college may substitute for the required experience High school graduate or GED.

EXPERIENCE: Preferred 2+ years

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Standing or sitting in the same location; may require to stoop, climb or lift light material (<10lbs) or equipment. Examples: programmers, receptionists, medical technologists, dishwashers and security guards

ENVIRONMENT: Located in an indoor area with frequent exposure to mild physical discomfort from dust, fumes, temperature extremes, loud noises and bright lights. Examples: mail clerks, material handlers and food service workers
