What You'll Do
- Operate and maintain department machinery to support production, packing, and shipping of rice food products.
- Drive a forklift or other powered equipment as needed.
- Perform preventive maintenance per PM charts and report defective materials or conditions.
- Follow all food safety, legal, quality, and process control policies and regulations.
- Accurately maintain company records and forms.
- Lead and direct work tasks of other department employees when needed.
- Keep work areas and equipment clean, safe, and organized.
- Support continuous improvement by learning machine functions and troubleshooting issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2 years of successful machine operating experience in a modern industrial facility.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Experience in the food or chemical industry preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and self-motivation.
- Effective teamwork and leadership skills.
- Ability to read and interpret production documents and customer orders.
