Senior Construction Project Manager (Washington)

Job description

We are Lot Squared Development (www.lotsquared.com), a house-flipping company in the Washington D.C.-Maryland-Virginia metro region. Our projects range from simple trash-outs to extensive remodeling additions.

We're looking to bring a Senior Construction Project Manager onboard remotely to help us keep our projects on track, on time, and on budget.

We aren't looking for someone to just sit at a desk and update a spreadsheet. We need an Agent of Progress—someone who knows how to move a project forward and isn't afraid to pick up the phone to make things happen.

This job is remote work‑from‑home Monday - Friday 9am - 6pm EST. Nights and weekends as needed.

If you’re a go-getter who likes to see results in a high‑energy environment, apply today.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Moving the needle: You’ll use a schedule as a tool to get things done, not just a checklist to stay busy.
  • Managing risk: You’ll keep an eye on the big three: money, time, and people. You need to see problems coming before they hit us.
  • Handling the spectrum: One day you might be overseeing a quick renovation; the next, you’re managing the administration for a luxury estate.
  • Solving problems: If a problem is at your level, you fix it. If it’s bigger than you, you alert management immediately.
  • Communicating: You’ll be talking to construction managers and realtors. You need to be tactful, but you also need to be able to lean in and be assertive when a project is stalling.
Who We’re Looking For
  • A Self-Starter: This is a remote role. We don’t do punch clocks here. You need to be able to manage yourself and your time without someone looking over your shoulder.
  • Not Passive: If you’re looking to do the bare minimum or just get through the day, this isn't the job for you. We need someone driven.
  • Construction/Project Background: You’ve worked for a construction or project-based company before and you understand how the gears turn.
  • Organized & Smart: You know how to prioritize. You’re smart enough to identify risks early and brave enough to speak up about them.
  • Future Leader: We’re growing. We want someone who can eventually step up as a Team Lead as we expand.
