Position Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead by example, promoting company values and ensuring safety for yourself and others.
- Work under the supervision of foreman and/or superintendent.
- Direct and control traffic through and around construction zones using hand signals, flags, and signs.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal traffic laws and regulations.
- Monitor traffic patterns and adjust flagging procedures as needed to maintain safety and efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with construction workers, drivers, and pedestrians to ensure clear understanding of directions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
- Flagger certified
- Basic understanding of equipment and construction tasks.
- Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions.
- Must pass controlled substance tests before and during employment.
- Physical ability to lift/carry 50-100 lbs., stand/walk for long periods, and perform tasks in extreme weather conditions..
- Completion of Siema Safety Orientation Course, Siema 60-day Orientation Course, LADOTD Certified Flagger training,
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
