Position Summary
As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will provide direct personal care and daily living assistance to residents while encouraging independence, dignity, and comfort. Working alongside licensed nurses and other healthcare professionals, you will help ensure residents receive attentive, high-quality care in a warm and welcoming environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Support residents with walking, repositioning, transfers, and other mobility needs while following safe lifting procedures.
• Provide assistance during meals and encourage proper nutrition and hydration according to individual care plans.
• Monitor residents for changes in their physical, emotional, or mental condition and promptly communicate concerns to the nursing staff.
• Build positive relationships with residents by providing companionship, encouragement, and emotional support.
• Promote resident participation in daily activities and social programs that enhance quality of life.
• Complete resident documentation accurately and in a timely manner while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with facility policies.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents, visitors, and fellow employees.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing.
• CPR and First Aid certification, or the ability to obtain certification as required.
• Previous experience in assisted living, skilled nursing, long-term care, or a healthcare environment is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A compassionate, dependable, and patient-centered approach to resident care.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
