Job description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Forge strong customer relationships by being an engaged resource for their projects and problems
  • Respond with a sense of urgency and clarity to customer requests
  • Establish and communicate lead times
  • Create job sequences for production and subcontracts, based on estimate.
  • Maximize profit while balancing customer price acceptance
  • In coordination with sales, coordinate pre project services such as new concept design
  • Manage pre-production steps and the order entry process to ensure details regarding customer requirements are accurately communicated to manufacturing
  • Actively participate in production meetings as a customer advocate
  • Check proofs for accuracy when sending out for approval
  • Communicate customer approvals to ensure work quickly transitions to production
  • Coordinate and communicate fulfillment requirements resulting in a seamless client experience
  • Coordinate client-supplied information for kitting projects analyzing detail to ensure accuracy

Requirements:

  • 2-year degree or equivalent experience in the print or business field.
  • Printing experience preferred (litho, digital, screen)
  • Understanding of manufacturing and job shop work environment
  • Competent in Microsoft Office (Proficiency in Excel)
  • Detail oriented with a service/sales aptitude
  • Ability to multitask
