Join Our Team as an ACA-Certified Instructor at Rocky Mountain Outdoor Center!

Are you passionate about the great outdoors and sharing your love for adventure with others? Rocky Mountain Outdoor Center, located in beautiful Buena Vista, CO, is looking for ACA-certified instructors to join our team. If you have at least 3 years of experience, current ACA certification, and are ready to take on an exciting role in a dynamic environment, we’d love to hear from you!

What You’ll Do

As an ACA-certified instructor, you’ll play a key role in creating unforgettable experiences for our clients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading outdoor adventure activities with professionalism and enthusiasm.
  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants during activities.
  • Providing expert instruction and guidance in accordance with ACA standards.
  • Preparing and maintaining equipment to ensure it’s in top condition.
  • Representing Rocky Mountain Outdoor Center’s commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.
What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking individuals who are passionate, skilled, and ready to take on the challenges of outdoor instruction. Here’s what you’ll need to succeed in this role:

  • Kayak Instructor – ACA L4 Whitewater Kayak Instructor Certification
  • SUP/Surf – ACA L4 whitewater SUP Instructor Certification
  • Raft – Class IV guide with over 1500 commercial miles
  • Climb – AMGA Rock Guide Certification
