Job description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: > Assist with definition, design, prototyping, implementation, > testing, debugging, verification, and deployment of Oracle, Java, > WebLogic, and GlassFish project requirements. > Assist to maintain software functionality. > Develop and maintain technical documentation for > developed/maintained functionality.

> Assist other developers, testers, and/or client stakeholders to > understand relevant requirements. > Perform configuration management tasks for projects. > WORK EXPERIENCE: > At least six (6) years of experience developing and maintaining medium- to high-complexity software applications required.

> Experience with Oracle, Java, WebLogic, and GlassFish development and maintenance required. > Experience with Adobe Flex development and maintenance preferred. > Experience with ColdFusion development and maintenance preferred.

> Proven experience working with users in an Agile environment to understand requirements, elicit feedback, and refine solutions via demonstrations. JOB SKILLS: > Enthusiastic, proactive, positive attitude with good listening skills and high integrity. > Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to support projects supporting multiple organizations effectively.

> Ability to assist in the synthesis or combination of facts and details from different sources into coherent narratives. > Ability to work under pressure (at times) and be extremely flexible under changing priorities. > Ability to assist with the identification of innovative ways to solve problems.

> Ability to work in a team environment. > At least three (3) years of Java experience. > WebLogic, Glassfish, and Tomcat 5.5.15+ experience

> VMware vSphere versions 5 through 5.5+ experience. > Content management system (CMS) experience such as DRUPAL, Joomla, or Word Press. > Configuration Management experience such as Serena CM

> Windows 2008 Active Directory/XP/Win7 experience. > Unix/Linux experience. > CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS: > Relevant programming certifications preferred.

> COMMUNICATION SKILLS: > Excellent business and technical communication skills including the following: > Written: > Email > Documentation > Oral: > Presentation > Virtual (e.g., Web Conferencing) > Telephone > EDUCATION: > Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, > Engineering, or relevant field of study required. > Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, > Engineering, or relevant field of study preferred.
