Job description

DuBois & King (D&K) seeks a self-motivated Marketing Assisstant Manager with 8 to 12 years of experience to join the collaborative Marketing and Business Development team in a growing engineering firm. D&K provides diverse professional consulting services ranging from mechanical or civil engineering to wetland science to municipal master planning throughout the Northeast and beyond.

Subject: Marketing Assistant Manager Position 

The preferred candidate will have a strong work ethic, creative energy, and be organized and proficient at juggling multiple priorities under strict deadlines while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. 

Responsabilities:

  • Develop proposals (write, copyedit, and proofread), qualifications packages, outlines, and agendas. 
  • Proofread and copyedit marketing materials. 
  • Manage large amounts of information. 
  • Mentor junior staff on proposal development and assist with maintaining the proposal schedule. 
  • Search for, identify, and distribute proposal solicitations as directed by the Marketing Manager and Marketing Director. 
  • Search for, identify, and distribute proposal solicitations as directed by the Marketing Manager and Marketing Director. 
  • Travel to other offices, conferences, trade shows, and career fairs on occasion. 
  • Create and deliver press releases. 
  • Develop social media program and content. 
  • Work with the Marketing Manager and Director to strategize and oversee the procurement of photo and video assets.
  • Recommend, implement, and maintain website. 
  • Create and deliver marketing and promotional materials, both print and electronic. 
  • Establish and maintain working relationships with other D&K staff and external teaming partners. 
  • Serve as an effective team member of the Marketing Division.

  • Mac-based Adobe Creative Suite (required)
  • Google and Microsoft applications (optional) 
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Communications or a similar field plus 8 years of experience.

Compensation Range: 

The salary range for this position is $58,000 - $78,000, plus employees may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws.
