To thrive as an IV Drip Bar Nurse, you need a valid nursing license (RN or LPN), strong venipuncture skills, and experience in intravenous therapy. Familiarity with infusion pumps, IV fluids, and documentation systems is typically required, and some employers may prefer certifications like IV Therapy or BLS/CPR. What is an IV drip bar?

An IV drip bar is a wellness center or clinic where clients receive intravenous (IV) therapy, which involves administering fluids, vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients directly into the bloodstream. This process is believed to help with hydration, recovery, energy, and overall wellness. IV drip bars often offer a variety of formulas targeting different needs, such as boosting immunity, enhancing athletic performance, or alleviating hangovers. Treatments are typically supervised by licensed healthcare professionals to ensure safety and proper administration.
