Job description

MELE Associates, Inc. is seeking to add an experienced Engineering Support Analyst to support the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) in the execution of its mission, including providing technical, programmatic management, environmental planning and logistics support services. This full-time on-site position is contingent upon contract award.

Essential Functions:

  • Assisting in developing, implementing and maintaining project management/control, classified scheduling and reporting systems and tools, in support of the Life Extension, Alteration, Modification, and other NNSA programs, including but not limited to: Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS), Risk Registers, etc.
  • Supporting project-related technical analyses related to investment decisions, such as pair-wise comparisons, benchmarking, trade-off analysis, security/vulnerability project evaluations, etc.
  • Supporting roll up of project assignments, milestones, and performance into an integrated project-wide view.
  • Conduct intelligence-based Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) analysis, etc. and assist acquisition and/or operational activities to reduce programmatic risks.
  • Support development of cyber security policy and implementation, including cyber and supply chain integrity issues at NLs/design agencies, plants, subsystems and integrated systems.
  • Assess potential cyber manipulation of systems and technology deployed across the NNSA complex, including labs, plants and sites.
  • Evaluate current deployed security solutions and compare to what has been documented to determine the level of deviation from the perceived security architecture, including discovery of unknown rogue systems that might be circumventing security measures.

 Minimum Qualifications:

  •  Current, active DOE Q Clearance/Top Secret Clearance with ability to acquire SCI.
  • Master’s degree in engineering or cyber-security related field. Eight (8) years of relevant experience is equivalent to a four (4) year bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum ten (10) years of government experience
  • Superior communication, organizational, interpersonal, and writing skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PhD in engineering or cybersecurity.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

LOCATION: This is a full-time on-site position in Washington, DC  20585, Germantown, MD 20874 or Albuquerque, NM 87123 USA

SALARY: Salaries are determined based on several factors including external market data, internal equity, and the candidate’s related knowledge, skills, and abilities for the position.  The salary range for this position is $115-125K.
