About the Job
We are seeking a Medical Assistant with an active Tennessee Limited X-Ray Machine Operator (LXMO) license who is qualified and comfortable performing limited X-ray imaging within the scope permitted by Tennessee state licensure, in addition to Medical Assistant responsibilities within our health center.
This role requires strong patient care skills, attention to safety and quality standards, and concierge-level customer service while supporting both clinical and radiologic workflows.
What You'll Do
Limited X-Ray Responsibilities
  • Perform limited X-ray procedures in accordance with Tennessee LXMO scope of practice and provider orders
  • Prepare and position patients appropriately for radiographic imaging
  • Produce quality diagnostic images for provider review while following radiation safety standards
  • Maintain required documentation, logs, and quality assurance activities related to radiology services
  • Ensure radiology equipment is clean, maintained, and functioning properly
  • Follow all company policies, state regulations, and radiation safety guidelines
Clinical & Administrative Support
  • Room patients, obtain vital signs, and assist with patient flow
  • Support providers with clinical procedures and specimen collection as needed
  • Maintain clean, stocked, and disinfected exam rooms
  • Assist with scheduling, referrals, phone calls, and other front-office support duties
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and relationship-based patient care

What You'll Bring
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent Medical Assistant certification
  • Active Tennessee Limited X-Ray Machine Operator (LXMO) license
  • Current BLS certification
  • Minimum of one year of recent experience in a medical setting preferred, or completion of an approved externship/internship program
  • Strong communication, patient care, and customer service skills
  • Current immunization and health documentation as required
