Job Responsibilities
- Adhere to all NCAA, conference, institutional and departmental guidelines, and policies.
- Demonstrate leadership and professional behavior when dealing with all constituent groups, including prioritizing student-athletes, athletics department coaches and staff, and all members of the University community.
- Design and implement strength training and conditioning programs for assigned intercollegiate athletic programs including football; in-season, off-season, and pre-season. (35%)
- Work in cooperation with the head strength coach, sports medicine or athletic training staff in the rehabilitation and strengthening of injured athletes. (20%)
- Assist in the design and implementation of policies and procedures for the strength and conditioning program. (10%)
- Assist with developing systems for tracking weight room attendance and documentation of noteworthy events.(10%)
- Assist with creating a system for student-athlete progress in conjunction with the sport coaches. (5%)
- Assist with conducting an annual needs analysis for each sport team in conjunction with the sport coach at the conclusion of each sport season. (5%)
- Facilitate a collaborative relationship among sport coaches, sports medicine, and the strength and conditioning staff. (5%)
- Works with work study student employees and Athletic Performance interns (5%)
- Perform duties assigned by Director of Athletics and Recreation, Head Athletic Trainer, or Head Strength Coach. (5%)

- Bachelor's degree
- Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) certification
