UFC's Internship Program is open to any student who is currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program. This is an on-site, in-person internship in Las Vegas, NV. UFC does not provide relocation, housing, or transportation assistance.
Important Dates
  • July 1st: Fall Internships will post externally.
  • July 24th: Applications will be accepted through this date.
  • July 27th - August 14th : The interview and selection process will take place.
  • The program will be 12 weeks in length: August 31st - November 20th

Strength and Conditioning
Responsibilities
  • Assist the Strength & Conditioning team in any physical training-related tasks
  • Assist the Strength & Conditioning team in planning and preparing physical training activities
  • Implement monitoring and assessment interventions as requested
  • Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the weight room environment is maintained within the facility
  • Act in an inter-disciplinary role with other technical areas as required
  • Interns will take part in a full education program covering strength and conditioning principles in MMA related to programming, periodization strategies, energy system development, and testing evaluation.
  • Followed by a case study presentation at the end of the internship.

Qualifications
  • Must be enrolled in a relevant academic program
  • Must possess or be working toward CSCS, CSCCA, or another internationally recognized certification
  • Outstanding work ethic and attention to detail
  • Able to demonstrate ability to work independently on assigned tasks and to deliver outcome goals effectively
  • Strong desire to work with elite combat athletes
  • Experience working with athletes from weight-categorized sports is desired"
