RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Acton, MA that is seeking an Associate UX Designer.
Summary:
The Digital Customer Experience team is responsible for designing and delivering seamless, user-centered experiences across a wide range of platforms and tools. These solutions support diverse audiences, including end users, caregivers, healthcare professionals, and internal teams such as sales, support, training, and customer success.
We are seeking an Associate UX Designer who is eager to grow their skillset and contribute to meaningful digital products. In this role, you will collaborate with senior designers and cross-functional partners to create intuitive, inclusive, and impactful experiences. You will gain hands-on exposure across the full UX lifecycle, including research, ideation, design, and delivery, while learning and applying best practices in accessibility, usability, and responsive design.
Duties:
* Support the design of web and cross-platform digital experiences through user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes
* Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to translate requirements into effective design solutions
* Participate in user research and usability testing, helping to synthesize findings and apply insights
* Apply accessibility and usability best practices to ensure inclusive, user-friendly designs
* Contribute to the maintenance and evolution of the organization's design system, including components and documentation
* Utilize design tools such as Figma, Miro, and Confluence to create and share work
* Participate in design critiques and team rituals, incorporating feedback to strengthen deliverables
* Document design decisions and assist with design QA during development cycles
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Human-Computer Interaction, Design, Psychology, or equivalent experience
* 0-2 years of UX or product design experience (internships and academic projects welcome)
* Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar
* Exposure to user research methods and usability principles
* Portfolio or work samples demonstrating design thinking, creativity, and user focus
* Interest in designing for web and mobile platforms; Experience in regulated industries is a plus
* Ability to work in a hybrid environment with some on-site collaboration as needed
* Strong interest in user-centered design and professional growth in UX
* Solid visual and interaction design instincts with attention to detail
* Effective communicator who is receptive to feedback and eager to learn
* Collaborative team player who enjoys problem-solving with cross-functional partners

This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
