Summary: This role will be working 100% on the manufacturing floor helping in the production process of our many product lines.  They are responsible to help run technical equipment and help accelerate and organize the production lines. 

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Working with Industrial Machines, programming and fabricating parts
  • Accurately complete quality and administrative documents
  • Work with Machine Operators to improve and correct processes 
  • Inspecting parts for Quality
  • Working closely with Production Managers to ensure timely production of parts
  • Assisting the Engineering staff with other plant projects
  • Read Engineering Drawings 
  • Performing all work according to safety standards and procedures
  • Ensuring workspace is clean, safe and in working order
  • Excellent opportunity for growth into manufacturing and other engineering opportunities

Qualifications:

  • 2yr or 4yr technical degree in a Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering Technology curriculum REQUIRED
  • Entry level to 2yrs work experience 
  • Internship or other hands-on, manufacturing experience preferred
  • CNC and/or punch programming experience
  • AutoCAD or other 2D Drafting is REQUIRED
  • Organization and ability to prioritize
  • Effective and prompt communication
  • Ability to measure parts using calipers, micrometers, and tape measure.
  • Must pass background check and drug screen

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work standing for 8 - 10 hours at a time
  • Required to use ladder, forklift or other means to acquire parts for product 
  • Able to use power & hand tools
  • Ability to lift 35 to 50 pounds independently
