Your Team, Your Impact
Marvell's Central Engineering Foundational IP team is seeking a Senior Staff SRAM Software Engineer to join our Burlington, VT custom SRAM team. Our Custom SRAMs are enabled with the support of a software focused team to develop infrastructure, tooling, and views for memory IP, as well as create memory optimization solutions for chip designs. The ideal candidate will have a strong computer science background along with EE fundamentals, preferably in the semiconductor industry.
What You Can Expect
In this position, you will:
  • Work closely with SRAM circuit designers to implement PPA (Power, Performance, Area) data to create design kits.
  • Create systems to optimize SRAM memory solutions for SoC designers.
  • Develop new solutions to meet emerging market needs for semiconductor IP.

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of hands-on software development experience, preferably in the semiconductor industry.
  • Functional programming (Clojure desirable), and Java programming.
  • Scripting (Perl, Python, Bash) in a command line environment.
  • Strong background developing in a Linux environment.
  • Well versed with version control systems (Git, GitHub).
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to work independently and manage project deadlines effectively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with SRAM architecture.
  • Proficiency with EDA views (e.g. ATPG, TCD, Verilog).
  • Experience with software system architecture.

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)
135,900 - 201,130, $ per annum
The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
