Job description

Oak View Group (OVG) is the global leader in premium live entertainment infrastructure and services, with a platform spanning venue development and end-to-end capabilities across venue management, hospitality, and sponsorship sales. Founded in 2015, the company serves a collection of seven world-class owned venues and a client roster of the most iconic arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions, spanning four continents. 


The Oak View Group (“OVG”) Mergers, Acquisitions and Business Development Internship offers participants an opportunity to work in respect of investments in professional sports and entertainment facilities across a broad range of arena development components, including but not limited to financial / investment analysis, project sourcing, and pre-development design. Responsibilities will include collaborating in the development of market overviews of cities to determine viable arena / venue investments, research and data collection on prospective and established stadium / arena, and an introduction to financial modeling and partnership negotiations.


Throughout the nine-week internship, participants will gain a thorough understanding on how deals transition from the project pipeline to the construction phase and into operations. Interns will also collaborate with other departments, including OVG Global Partnerships and the booking teams in order to best understand the facility management industry.

This role is expected to start June 8, 2026 and will end on August 7, 2026

This role will pay an hourly rate of $20.00

OVG provides New York internship employees with paid sick leave consistent with applicable law in the State of New York (and New York City, if applicable) 

This position will remain open until June 15, 2026.


  • Assist in the research and compile demographic information for various markets
  • Assist in the creation of lender presentations and other investor materials to help secure financing necessary to fund arena construction
  • Assist with business development strategies and investment opportunity analysis
  • Collaborate with local operations teams to improve operational efficiency for OVG owned and operated venues (Climate Pledge Arena, UBS Arena, Moody Center, etc.)
  • Participate in group conference calls

Key Learnings:

  • Exposure to M&A and development processes within professional sports and entertainment venues, including investment analysis, project sourcing, and early-stage development planning.
  • Ability to evaluate market viability by conducting city-level market overviews, researching stadium and arena assets, and analyzing demand drivers for new venue investments.
  • Build foundational skills in financial modeling, data-driven research, and partnership structuring, with insight into how strategic negotiations support large-scale arena and venue developments.
