Position Summary

SPR’s Agricultural Plastics Division is seeking a motivated Sales Representative to support the promotion of our full range of film solutions for the agriculture/horticulture sector. This individual will join a collaborative team serving a diverse network of distributors, farmers, and growers across the country. This position is ideal for early-career professionals or recent graduates interested in building a career in agricultural sales. Candidates with hands-on experience or a background in agriculture are also encouraged to apply. The Sales Representative will support business development activities, including identifying new opportunities, assisting with regional account management, conducting market research, and participating in product trials with growers and distributors.

A candidate for this position must share a passion for agriculture as well as honesty, integrity, commitment, and hard work that is characteristic of those who dedicate their lives to agriculture. Training is provided which includes visits to our state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in Spain.

  • Support prospecting and development of new customers and distribution partners.
  • Help manage and service existing nationwide accounts.
  • Participate in field visits, product demonstrations, and grower trials.
  • Conduct market research and report on industry trends and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support sales initiatives and customer solutions.
  • Up to 30% of travel is required, this includes travel throughout the United States and periodic training visits to Spain.
  • Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, Agribusiness, Horticulture, or a related field preferred but not required.
  • Background or familiarity with agriculture, horticulture, or greenhouse production is a plus.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Willingness to travel regionally and work directly with growers and distributors.
  • Self-motivated with the desire to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.
  • Internship or hands-on agricultural experience valued.
