You'll often work alongside senior engineers to troubleshoot technical issues, organize and maintain audio files, and occasionally participate in creative discussions about sound design. This role offers valuable exposure to the workflow of professional studios and live event production teams, providing insights into both the technical and collaborative aspects of sound engineering.

What are intern sound engineers?

Intern sound engineers are entry-level professionals who assist in the technical aspects of audio recording, editing, and production. They typically work under the supervision of experienced sound engineers in environments such as recording studios, broadcast stations, or live event venues. Their duties may include setting up audio equipment, running cables, checking sound levels, and learning how to mix and edit audio. The internship provides valuable hands-on experience and exposure to industry-standard tools and practices, preparing them for more advanced roles in audio engineering.
