The Marketing Intern for Special Events role plays an important part in supporting our team while providing valuable handson learning experiences that help build future talent. As an Intern, you will contribute to a variety of projects and daily tasks that support the success of our marketing and event operations. Responsibilities

Where You'll Make an Impact:

  • Learn to develop and execute marketing campaigns promoting selected Live Casino & Hotel events & promotion
  • Recognize and understand the components of sponsorship, sales, and operations as it applies to the marketing and promotion of Live Casino & Hotel events
  • Assisting the marketing staff at events & promotions, on-site festivals and other events with high traffic to publicize the event center/ The HALL
  • Participate in all supervised events & promotions and set-up
  • Assist marketing department with daily office tasks
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

Must Haves:

  • Education:
    • Must be a high school senior, college junior, senior or graduate student studying a related major
    • College credits are available, but not required. 
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license as determined by the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency.

Physical Requirements:

  • Lifting, pushing and carrying up to 20lbs.
  • Infrequent bending/kneeling
  • Frequent walking, standing and sitting.
  • Climbing steps
  • Travel required occasionally.

Working Conditions:

  • 24/7 high energy casino with over 300,000 sq. ft of gaming and entertainment space and approximately 3000 employees.
  • Exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises.
  • You will work in an environment where smoking is allowed.
  • Willingness and ability to be flexible with work schedule. May require extended hours and work week from time to time.
