Program Timeframe: September through December

What you’ll be challenged to do:
During your internship, you will work on a highly functioning team and aid in providing design services for a wide variety of projects. You'll receive guidance, supervision and mentorship by experienced engineers and professionals with your success as the goal. The majority of our interns convert to full-time employees. 

In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following: 

  • Conduct research on client requirements and architectural standards.
  • Assist in developing projects from initial survey to construction phases.
  • Contribute to design concepts and presentations.
  • Coordinate with engineering disciplines on technical details.
  • Review shop drawings and monitor construction progress.

What you'll bring to our firm:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
  • Proficiency in software such as Revit Architecture, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
  • Basic knowledge of 3D modeling and rendering software like Enscape or Lumion.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail in design tasks.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients on various projects.

 

What we prefer you bring:

  • Familiarity with International Building Codes, NFPA, ADA, LEED, and related standards.
  • Exposure to building types such as transportation, education, commercial, industrial, and government projects.
Compensation:
The salary range for this role is $21.00 - $28.00 per hour. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
