Position Description:
We are looking for a motivated, top-notch Regional Director of Authorizations who wants to be a part of a stellar team and deliver exceptional results. We're looking for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn. Training and support will be provided for the responsibilities outlined below, with the goal of building confidence and independence in the role over time.
Job Title: Regional Director of Authorizations
Department: Authorizations
Reports to: Director of Authorizations
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Manages assigned region including: workload distribution, assignment of responsibilities, maintaining quarterly regional data, conducting ongoing team meetings, team productivity & career progression
  • Review & auditing of packet submissions to insurance funders
  • Conduct peer reviews & appeal processes for authorization requests
  • Collaborate with Area Directors, Ops & clinical teams for case specific needs based on medical necessity criteria outlined by the funder.

Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience as a BCBA
  • Insurance experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of healthcare communication regulations, privacy laws, and HIPAA, with the ability to apply these requirements appropriately.
  • Must meet the recommendation of regional leadership.

Compensation & Schedule:
  • Full-Time: Starting at $65,000 + quarterly performance bonus based on meeting KPIs.
