Job description

We are seeking a Senior ERP Functional Analyst to support and enhance a client's Infor M3 environment in Madison, Wisconsin. This role is responsible for providing functional expertise, system configuration support, troubleshooting, and implementation assistance while partnering closely with business and technical stakeholders. The ideal candidate combines deep ERP knowledge with a hands-on approach to improving system performance, streamlining business processes, and ensuring the long-term success of the platform in an onsite consulting environment.


Responsibilities:

• Provide functional and technical support for the Infor M3 platform, ensuring the system effectively supports business operations and evolving organizational needs.

• Troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes of recurring problems, and implement practical solutions to maintain system stability and performance.

• Support ERP implementation initiatives through solution design, system configuration, testing, user acceptance activities, and post-go-live support.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, evaluate enhancement requests, and recommend system improvements that align with operational goals.

• Configure and optimize ERP functionality to improve business processes, user experience, and overall system effectiveness.

• Coordinate with technical teams to support integrations between the ERP platform and other enterprise applications.

• Develop and maintain system documentation, configuration standards, support procedures, and user guidance to promote consistency and long-term maintainability.

• Work onsite with client teams four days per week to provide hands-on support, gather feedback, and contribute to ongoing ERP initiatives.

• Partner with infrastructure and operations teams to ensure the ERP environment remains reliable, secure, and aligned with broader technology initiatives.

• 7+ years of experience in ERP architecture, enterprise applications, or closely related consulting roles.

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience working with Infor M3 in a support, architecture, or implementation capacity.

• Proven background assisting with ERP implementations, including requirement analysis, configuration support, and issue resolution.

• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose system problems and recommend effective corrective actions.

• Working knowledge of enterprise architecture standards and supporting technologies such as server virtualization, enterprise storage, and DevOps practices.

• Familiarity with ERP environments that interact with infrastructure and access management components, including Group Policy Objects.

• Ability to work effectively in an onsite client-facing role and communicate clearly with both technical teams and business users.
