Assignment Information
  • Full-time opportunities available
    โ€ข Initial 16-week contract with potential 13-week extensions
    โ€ข 8-hour or 12-hour shifts based on facility requirements

Primary Responsibilities
  • Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care within inpatient behavioral health and detoxification settings
    โ€ข Complete thorough patient assessments addressing physical, psychiatric, and withdrawal-related conditions
    โ€ข Administer medications safely and monitor patient response, including detox treatment protocols
    โ€ข Track vital signs, physical health status, and behavioral or emotional changes
    โ€ข Perform nursing triage evaluations and respond appropriately to urgent or crisis situations
    โ€ข Assist patients in building coping skills and supporting stabilization goals
    โ€ข Observe, document, and communicate changes in patient condition to the care team
    โ€ข Maintain accurate clinical records and medication documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
    โ€ข Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans
    โ€ข Work collaboratively with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing education program
    โ€ข Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in North Carolina
    โ€ข Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification
    โ€ข Minimum of one year of recent inpatient nursing experience
    โ€ข Ability to successfully complete all required screenings, including background checks, drug testing, and competency evaluations
