At iFLY, our mission is to deliver the dream of flight to everyone! We are a global company with over 100 vertical wind tunnels in 19 countries (corporate and franchise). Headquartered in Austin, Texas, iFLY has 35 Corporate owned tunnel locations across the US. iFLY offers an exciting opportunity to join a successful and innovative organization that supports your professional growth.

 As an Area Sales Manager, Corporate, you will drive corporate and organizational event revenue across assigned territories by owning the complete sales cycle from prospecting through repeat business. This role focuses on building consultative selling skills while supporting revenue growth and market share within the Groups & Events category.

You will help develop early-stage corporate client relationships and provide foundational account support, contributing to repeat business and long-term partnerships. Through persuasive communication and strong execution, you will play a key role in delivering memorable corporate event experiences and strengthening iFLY’s brand presence in the community.

Duties and Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development 

  •  Own complete corporate event sales cycle
  •  Prospect and convert inbound/outbound opportunities
  •  Begin managing a small portfolio of corporate accounts focusing on retention
  •  Generate repeat and referral business
  •  Build relationships with event planners and agencies

Territory Growth 

  •  Master the features and benefits of assigned territory tunnels to effectively solve client needs
  •  Build and maintain strong relationships with event planners, agencies & community organizations
  •  Partner with Business Development to cultivate strategic partnerships within events, hospitality, and travel & tourism industries

Forecasting & Pipeline 

  •  Maintain opportunity pipeline and account activity
  •  Use targeted sales messaging to continue to build a portfolio of businesses
  •  Forecast revenue
  •  Track performance metrics

Event Planning & Execution 

  •  Partner with Operations on pre-booking needs such as tours, AV capability needs, and more.
  •  Partner with Operations on event set up requirements and needs
  •  Coordinate premium event experiences by partnering with preferred vendors for catering, rentals, or agency staffing needs.

Work Experience and Requirements

  •  2+ years sales experience
  •  Experience in events, hospitality, experiential, or B2B sales
  •  Strong consultative selling skills
  •  Experience supporting repeat or referral business
  •  CRM proficiency
