Job description

The Front Desk/Sales Associate is a bright, health conscious, professional, friendly, socially and personally aware individual. They work with a take-charge attitude determined to make everything they touch better. They are self-starting, self-motivated and treat both patients and co-the team with respect, even when you may not agree.


The individual will create a positive experience for first-time patients and can move from computer work to customer service in the blink of an eye and always with a smile on their face. They do what they say and say what they do and inspire everyone around them to a higher level when taking care of patients.

Responsibilities

Welcomes and greets all patients and visitors, in person or over the phone;

Responsible for keeping the reception area, treating rooms, bathrooms, and remaining office clean and organized;

Registers new patients and updates existing patient demographics by collecting detailed patient information including personal and financial information;

Facilitates patient flow by notifying the provider of patients' arrival, being aware of delays, and communicating with patients and clinical staff;

Collects fees;

Responds to inquiries by patients, prospective new patients, and visitors in a quick and courteous manner;

Keeps medical office supplies adequately stocked by anticipating inventory needs, placing orders, and monitoring office equipment;

Protects patient confidentiality;

Generates and encourages positive online reviews and social media check-ins;

Encourages patient referrals;

Navigate Jane App software functions including data-entry, scheduling, CPT & DX coding; Care plans; Super bills & Medicare billing;

Monitors and reports practice statistics designated to position (i.e. Google Drive / Stat Tracker);

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in sales or reception.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in basic computer applications (email, word processing, scheduling software).

A positive and welcoming demeanor.

Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a busy office setting.

Comfort with discussing and presenting service packages.
