Job description

Job Type: Remote / Contract / Hourly
Experience Level: Expert
Estimated Project Duration: 4–8 WeeksProject OverviewI am seeking a highly skilled OpenClaw Guide to help me transition from AI experimentation to building a functional, autonomous agent system. The goal is to move beyond simple chatbots and implement a production-ready OpenClaw instance to automate a [Insert Project Type: e.g., CRM, Content Strategy, Research, Workflow] project.I am looking for someone to guide me through the setup, best practices for security, and skill development.Key Responsibilities

  • Initial Setup & Security: Guide me through installing Node.js, setting up a secure VPS/local environment, configuring API keys (OpenAI/Anthropic), and setting up Telegram/Messenger integration.
  • Project Architecture: Help map our business needs into agentic workflows and create "jobs" for OpenClaw.
  • Skill Development: Teach me to build, test, and debug custom YAML-based skills/tools for OpenClaw.
  • Best Practices: Advise on managing context windows, implementing proper error handling, and avoiding bot detection.
  • Security & Guardrails: Implement "sandwiching" (human in the loop) and sandbox environments before deploying to production.

Required Skills & Expertise

  • OpenClaw Experience: Deep hands-on experience in configuring and running OpenClaw.
  • AI Agent Architectures: Understanding of LangChain/LangGraph, agent orchestration, and memory management.
  • Python/TypeScript: Familiarity with the underlying technologies for writing custom skills.
  • Workflow Automation: Experience identifying and mapping repetitive tasks to automated workflows.
  • Teaching/Mentoring: Passion for teaching and explaining complex technical steps clearly.

How to ApplyPlease provide a brief overview of an OpenClaw or AI agent project you have built. Explain how you structure a "job" for an agent to ensure it reliably delivers results. Why this role is needed now (2026 Context)

  • Automation Focus: The focus is on automating repetitive "chores".
  • Skill Structure: OpenClaw skills are essentially YAML + plain English, and a guide is needed to properly structure these for the agent to load correctly.
  • Safety First: New users need guidance on setting up proper security gatekeepers for these autonomous agents.

Pay: $35.00 - $65.00 per hour

Benefits:

  • Employee discount
  • Flexible schedule
  • Referral program
