NOW HIRING! IT Support Technician

Salary Range: $56,000 – $65,000

This is a fully onsite position with potential to move to a hybrid schedule.

Position Overview

The IT Support Technician provides first-line technical support for hardware, software, and systems across both on-site and remote environments. This role supports over 100 users and partners closely with a global IT Helpdesk team to maintain and enhance the desktop and production system environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line support via phone, email, chat, and ticketing systems
  • Configure, install, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, peripherals, and software
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to hardware, passwords, printers, connectivity, and applications
  • Escalate complex issues to the appropriate teams when necessary
  • Document incidents and resolutions using service management tools (e.g., Freshdesk)
  • Track and follow up on open support tickets to ensure timely resolution
  • Support network and production systems, including troubleshooting and repairs
  • Manage and support mobile devices using Microsoft Intune
  • Onboard and train new employees on IT systems, tools, and procedures
  • Assist with IT support during critical events, such as outages or security incidents
  • Maintain accurate documentation of IT processes and procedures
  • Participate in special projects and additional duties as assigned


Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma required; post-secondary education preferred
  • 1+ year of hands-on IT support experience
  • 1+ year of experience with Microsoft 365 (including D365, Intune, Power BI, Power Automate)


Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware and software
  • Experience with platforms such as:
    • Windows Admin Tools
    • Citrix
    • Microsoft VDI
    • Dynamics Finance & Operations and Dynamics CE
  • Experience building Power BI reports and Power Automate workflows
  • Familiarity with IT ticketing systems (Freshdesk preferred)
  • Understanding of networking concepts and protocols
  • Knowledge of iOS and Android device support


Additional Skills

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and maintain a sense of urgency
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
  • Spanish or Dutch language skills are a plus
