Job description

As a Fitting Team Member at L.A.B. Golf, youโ€™ll play a key role in delivering personalized, data-driven putter fitting experiences that help golfers play their best. Whether you're starting as a Fitting Representative, building technical expertise as a Fitting Specialist, or leading high-impact sessions and attending events as a Senior Fitting Specialist, your mission remains the same: guide players toward better putting through expert fitting and service. Youโ€™ll use advanced equipment, interpret performance data, and collaborate across departments to ensure every customer walks away with the right fit and a great experience.

Responsibilities and Duties (All Levels)

Fitting and Customer Experience
  • Conduct putter fittings, appropriate to your role level, using tools such as launch monitors, PuttView, and Quintic, while considering the customerโ€™s playing style and performance goals.
  • Gather and interpret customer swing data and performance metrics to recommend ideal putter specifications.
  • Educate customers on the benefits of custom fitting and L.A.B. technology.
  • Adjust putters (e.g., loft, lie, shaft, grip) to meet recommended specs, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
  • Deliver excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving concerns with professionalism and product knowledge.
  • Maintain accurate records of fittings, specs, and adjustments for each customer.
  • Team Collaboration and Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute to a positive team culture by sharing insights, communicating updates, and supporting teammates.
  • Stay current on new golf technologies, L.A.B. products, and fitting tools.
  • Maintain and calibrate fitting equipment to ensure peak performance.
  • Offer feedback on process improvements and service enhancements.
  • General Duties
  • Support sales and marketing initiatives by participating in fitting events, ambassador programs, and elite player fittings (as applicable by level).
  • Perform additional duties to support the customer experience and promote operational alignment.
  • Career ProgressionFitting Representative (Level I)

    Pay Range: $21 - $23/hour

    Focus: Foundational fitting knowledge, remote customer fitting execution

    Experience

  • Independently conduct both remote and inperson fittings with accuracy and professionalism; occasional travel may be required.
  • Actively engage in ongoing internal training, including participation in programs like Fitting 101/201 and shadowing VIP opportunities.
  • Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of L.A.B. Golfโ€™s products and communicate clearly and confidently with customers.
  • Offer guidance and informal mentorship to Fitting Representatives as needed to support team development.
  • Senior Fitting Specialist (Level III)

  • Pay Range: $26$29/hour
  • Focus: VIP experiences, complex fittings, program support, tool mastery
  • Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in golf fitting or golf performance (college/pro playing experience a plus).
  • Expertlevel knowledge of L.A.B. products, Quintic, PuttView, and other performance tools.
  • Additional Expectations
  • Conduct advanced fittings for elite players, brand ambassadors, and highprofile events, delivering a premium and tailored experience.
  • Work closely with Player Development and Marketing teams to support initiatives, events, and brand representation.
  • Be available to travel for offsite fittings, ambassador engagements, and specialized fitting days as needed.

    Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required (Bachelorโ€™s preferred for senior level).
  • Technical Skills
  • Ability to interpret swing and putting data to make informed fitting recommendations.
  • Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal, to guide customers through the fitting process.
  • Competency in using launch monitors, lie/loft machines, and other fitting tools with accuracy and consistency.
  • Steady hands and fine motor control for making precise putter adjustments and modifications.
  • Basic working knowledge of fitting software and inventory systems to manage sessions and update records efficiently.
