Customer Service Representative (Full-Time)

Giordano Garden Groceries, a family-owned wholesale produce distributor based in Philadelphia, is looking for a friendly, reliable Customer Service Representative to join our growing team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers, stays organized under pressure, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’ll play an important role in supporting daily operations and maintaining strong relationships with our long-standing customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service in person and over the phone
- Enter and process customer orders, changes, and returns accurately
- Answer customer questions about products, availability, and order status
- Resolve issues quickly while maintaining a professional and helpful attitude
- Maintain organized records including invoices, delivery slips, and driver logs
- Assist with general administrative tasks and office organization
- Support day-to-day operations to keep workflow running smoothly
Qualifications
- 1–2 years customer service experience preferred, however we will teach you all you need to know!
- Produce or food distribution knowledge is a plus
- Strong communication and phone skills
- Organized with strong multitasking ability
- Detail-oriented with accurate data entry and typing skills
- Experience with QuickBooks, Excel, and Microsoft Office preferred
Schedule
This position is for an evening schedule and requires availability for weekends and rotating holidays.
Typical schedule will be Thursday–Monday, approximately 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM / 12:00 AM, with Tuesday and Wednesday off.
