Your Mission:

The Mobilisights Business Planning & Operations team is ramping up a global pricing and contract management function. We want to drive innovation in our approach to pricing and monetization and need you to contribute to our efforts to improve an overarching pricing framework which considers the various software, service and development pricing models relevant to the industries we serve today and into the future. You will be able to take advantage of Stellantis’ outstanding market positioning and vision in the Automotive and Mobility Technology segment, and you’ll sit at the intersection of product management, finance, sales, and marketing to build a strong understanding of our customer segments, our products, and our go-to-market strategy.  The individual will work in close coordination and support the global pricing strategy lead in Berlin and will be responsible for driving the pricing, packaging, and monetization strategy working cross-functionally to accelerate growth, optimize pricing, and transform our business models across the Mobilisights portfolio.

 Responsibilities include:

  • Analyze and audit existing pricing and associated monetization initiatives
  • Support the development of a regional/global licensing, pricing and contract management function.
  • Develop and refine the licensing agreement approach and support negotiations with partners and customers, enabling the company to safely, securely and profitably deliver DaaS & SaaS products and services.
  • Build business cases for Mobilisights Pricing Strategy, or new product monetization strategies and driving alignment across Mobilisights and Stellantis (as relevant)
  • Drive strategic deal negotiations through expert pricing analysis and commercial guidance
  • Contribute pricing insights to inform and support long-term revenue planning
  • Deliver pricing recommendations that follow a logically reasoned, data-driven approach, supported by appropriate market research and competitive analysis
  • Collaborate and align with Product, Finance and Sales teams, providing strategic counsel on decisions on how to price individual products
  • Identify areas for investment to build and solidify a pricing strategy practice at Mobilisights, including identifying software required and other tools to help scale the growth of the business.
  • Optimize execution of a regional deal desk function to review strategic opportunities
  • Establish frameworks and models to support discounting strategies which will be executed by the field with support and escalation to the Mobilisights deal desk.
  • Define, track and measure pricing KPIs, defining actionable cross-functional decision insights on pricing performance
  • Lead and be accountable for the roll-out of the pricing plan and ensure delivery of milestones and goals
  • Communicate progress and impact to Management and the wider company
  • Act as a thought leader and expert (internally and externally) in all matters pricing related
  • Train salespeople on pricing and packaging updates for all DaaS (and/or SaaS/PaaS) business models.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to critique and optimize initiatives on an ongoing basis

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Economics or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) or a related field.;
  • A minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in pricing or closely related role
  • Familiarity with data licensing, analytics, automotive tech, telematics, and evolving mobility highly valuable
  • Ability to translate and communicate complex topics in a variety of forums, tailoring communications to effectively fit and influence the targeted audience.
  • Strong executive presence, presentation, and written and verbal communication skills. Comfort engaging with global executives in business and technical discussions.
  • Experience with SaaS, DaaS, or data marketplaces is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills to work on complex business issues in a fast-paced, collaborative, and innovative high-growth environment.
  • High aptitude to learn quickly, assimilate to new teams and projects, provide critical thinking on new and unknown tasks, and work well under pressure with appropriate attention to detail.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit and excited by the challenges that come along with building a disruptive business.
  • Strong quantitative and analysis skills and advanced aptitude for creating financial or operational models

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree preferred (MBA or equivalent)
  • Fluency in English; additional languages a plus
