ABOUT THE ROLE

As an Assistant Manager at FUNBOX, you’ll support all park departments — front desk, park operations, parties, and marketing — while ensuring a safe, clean, and energetic guest experience. This is a leadership development role for high performers ready to take on full accountability during shifts and grow toward general management.
You’ll manage day-to-day execution, resolve operational challenges in real time, and foster a motivated and reliable team culture. As MOD (Manager on Duty), you’ll be entrusted with keyholder responsibilities, staff accountability, and ensuring guests leave with smiles on their faces.

RESPONSIBILITIES

●      Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) and lead by example on the floor
●      Support daily operations across all departments and zones
●      Coach frontline team members and leads on SOPs and service expectations
●      Handle scheduling issues, breaks, and shift coverage
●      Resolve guest concerns and process refunds or escalations when needed
●      Ensure safety, cleanliness, and operational checklists are completed
●      Communicate shift updates, wins, and feedback to the GM
●      Support party execution, check-in flow, and monitor staffing levels
QUALIFICATIONS
●      2+ years of keyholder or supervisor experience in retail, events, food service, or entertainment
●      Proven leadership abilities with a track record of accountability and initiative
●      Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
●      Ability to multi-task, de-escalate issues, and think ahead
●      Familiar with POS systems and operational checklists
●      Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
●      Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs
