Job description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all material and product movements within the facility.
  • Operate a yard dog to move semi-trailers and transport steel throughout the yard.
  • Back semi-trailers into loading bays safely and efficiently.
  • Operate RTG (Rough Terrain Gantry) equipment to relocate materials and sections.
  • Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Cross-train and support other operational areas as needed.

Job Requirements

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand shipping environment with strong attention to detail and minimal clerical errors.
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
  • General understanding of a high-volume, customer-driven manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to learn and operate forklifts, rough terrain gantries, and semi-trucks.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting preferred.
