Job description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinate all material and product movements within the facility.
- Operate a yard dog to move semi-trailers and transport steel throughout the yard.
- Back semi-trailers into loading bays safely and efficiently.
- Operate RTG (Rough Terrain Gantry) equipment to relocate materials and sections.
- Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Cross-train and support other operational areas as needed.
Job Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand shipping environment with strong attention to detail and minimal clerical errors.
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
- General understanding of a high-volume, customer-driven manufacturing environment.
- Ability to learn and operate forklifts, rough terrain gantries, and semi-trucks.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- 1-3 years of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting preferred.
