AvaSure offers a proactive way of keeping patients safe,reducing falls, maintaining tubes and lines, preventing elopements, and monitoring staff safety. Remote monitoring reduces hospital costs through continuous visual monitoring and verbal redirection by monitoring staff located at the BSC. Our 2-way visual cameras allow us to make great connections with patients, family, and staff. Our techs arean extra set of eyes to intervene at the signs of distress and get immediate help.

Assistant Nurse Manager - Remote Monitoring Team

The Assistant Nurse Manager will partner closely with the Clinical Nurse Manager to support the daily operations and clinical excellence of our remote monitoring team. This leadership role is ideal for a collaborative, hands-on nurse leader who thrives in a dynamic care environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Clinical Nurse Manager to oversee team operations and ensure high-quality patient care
  • Support administrative functions, including staffing coordination, team communication, and workflow management
  • Lead onboarding and orientation for new team members, fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment
  • Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement

Scope of work

Under the direction of the nurse manager or other nursing leader, the assistant nurse manager has responsibility for the effective implementation of the philosophy, goals, policies, and procedures of the hospital and the nursing department and their effect on patient care in the department.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) Required.
  • Two+ years of clinical experience Required.
  • Participation in leadership activities (Unit, hospital or system Shared Governance meetings, Precepting, Charge nurse role) Preferred.
  • MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required.
  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required.
  • AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Required.
