Senior Marketing Coordinator, E-commerce

Digital operator, project owner, and launch coordinator across website, email, content, and social execution.

| This is not a developer role and not a junior posting role. This person is the conductor: the one who keeps the website, email, social, launches, creative requests, and execution calendar moving in sync.

Pure Roots is a premium cannabis and hemp brand built around living soil cultivation, regenerative practices, small-batch production, and solventless product quality. The brand should feel elevated, intentional, clean, and authenticnot mass market.
The website is a core sales and brand-building channel. It must educate customers, support premium pricing, communicate product quality clearly, and stay aligned with launches, inventory readiness, and compliance.

Role Summary

We are hiring a senior marketing coordinator to own execution across the website, email, social, and digital launch calendar.
This role turns founder direction and campaign concepts into organized execution. They coordinate the right people, get the right assets requested, keep deadlines moving, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks.
The right person is highly organized, detail-driven, comfortable managing contributors, and able to keep brand, operations, and compliance aligned from idea to launch.

Key Responsibilities

Own the weekly and monthly website, email, content, and launch calendar.
Coordinate the web developer, SEO partner, Preditor, and any freelancers to keep priorities moving.
Translate campaign ideas and product plans into clear briefs, deadlines, and task follow-through.
Manage website freshness: homepage updates, category updates, featured products, product page improvements, and launch readiness.
Own email execution, including campaign calendars, product emails, member communications, and launch sends.
Ensure social content, website content, and email messaging match the same campaign direction.
Request and organize creative needs including product photography, short-form video, graphics, copy, and launch assets.
QA the customer experience across mobile and desktop before launches go live.
Work with operations and compliance to confirm inventory, pricing, packaging, and claims before publication.
Maintain organized folders, task tracking, status updates, and weekly KPI reporting.

The website always feels current, intentional, and premium.
Product launches happen on time and without chaos.
Email, website, and social stay aligned with the same campaign message.
Roots members hear from the brand consistently and clearly.
The Preditor, developer, and SEO partner receive clean briefs and clear deadlines.
No product goes live without inventory confirmation, compliance check, and final QA.
Content gets published consistently instead of randomly.
Digital revenue, engagement, and conversion trend upward because execution is reliable.

What This Role Is Not

Not the primary developer.
Not the hands-on SEO executor.
Not the paid ads lead.
Not just a social media poster.
Not just a copywriter or admin.
Not expected to do every piece of work personallyexpected to own the system and make sure the work gets done well.

Required Experience

3+ years in marketing coordination, content management, e-commerce coordination, digital project management, brand production, or a similar execution-heavy role.
Strong project management and follow-through.
Strong writing, editing, and communication instincts.
Comfortable working inside content calendars, email platforms, e-commerce systems, and project tracking tools.
Able to manage multiple moving parts without losing clarity or deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and high standards for consistency.
Comfortable in a founder-led environment where priorities move fast.
Able to work Eastern Time and communicate quickly with internal and external partners.

Nice to Have

Experience with premium consumer brands.
Experience with cannabis, hemp, wellness, beauty, beverage, or other regulated products.
Experience with product launches, merchandising, and customer lifecycle email.
Familiarity with Shopify, WordPress/WooCommerce, Klaviyo, or similar systems.
Experience briefing creative teams, photographers, editors, or social contributors.

Compensation & Incentives

Base salary: $60,000.
Performance bonus opportunity tied to execution, channel consistency, KPI improvement, and revenue support.
Target total compensation can grow.

First 90 Days

Audit the current website, email rhythm, content library, and launch workflow.
Build a clear master calendar for website updates, email sends, social support, and product launches.
Create a predictable system for founder approvals, developer requests, Preditor requests, and launch QA.
Establish weekly operating cadence so digital execution becomes consistent, clean, and measurable.
