We are seeking a dependable and service-oriented Mailroom & Office Services Coordinator to join our Midtown Manhattan office. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity for a hands-on professional who thrives in a fast-paced corporate environment and takes pride in maintaining efficient office operations.The ideal candidate will have prior mailroom experience, as this is the most critical aspect of the role, along with the ability to manage a variety of office support responsibilities.
- Location: Midtown Manhattan, NY
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (100% onsite, 5 days per week
- Temporary: $26.00/hour
- Permanent: $55,000-$57,000 annually
Responsibilities:
- Process, sort, distribute, and collect incoming and outgoing mail and packages across five office floors (transitioning to two floors by early 2027).
- Coordinate timely mail deliveries and ensure accurate routing of all correspondence.
- Stock and maintain office kitchens, including replenishing supplies and keeping common areas clean and organized.
- Monitor and maintain office copy and printer stations by clearing paper jams, replenishing paper, and escalating service issues when needed.
- Assist with office setup projects, including moving boxes, office supplies, and light furniture as required.
- Support general office services and facilities-related tasks to ensure the workplace operates smoothly.
Required Qualifications:
- Previous mailroom experience is required and is the top priority for this position.
- Experience in office services, facilities, or corporate office support is strongly preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks throughout the day.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds safely.
