Our agency client is looking for a freelance Senior Data Operations Specialist. The Data Operations Specialist will be responsible for the technical execution of data integrations, pipeline creation, and data cleansing, ensuring high-quality, accessible data for internal strategy teams. This position is vital for maintaining data integrity and providing a reliable data infrastructure, allowing the company's internal teams to deliver accurate insights and recommendations to clients without needing to focus on campaign performance analysis themselves.
This is a remote, adhoc role approx 10-20 hours per week for 2+ months.
Responsibilities:
  • Set up and connect data integrations from various sources (e.g., Google Ads, LinkedIn, GA4).
  • Create and manage data pipelines to ensure efficient data flow.
  • Cleanse and manipulate raw data to normalize and standardize it for analysis.
  • Push processed data into storage environments such as Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, BigQuery, or Microsoft Azure.
  • Collaborate with internal data and strategy teams to understand data requirements.
  • Ensure data quality and accessibility for internal analysis.
  • Assist with setting up triggers, events, and tags in platforms like Google Tag Manager.

Technical Skills:
  • Advanced SQL and Python (Pandas, API integration, ETL development)
  • Experience consuming REST APIs, including OAuth authentication, pagination, and JSON parsing
  • Experience building automated data pipelines using Python, Azure Functions, GitHub Actions, or cloud automation tools
  • Familiarity with CRM, marketing, and analytics platform APIs (Salesforce, HubSpot, Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, GA4, etc.)
  • Experience connecting data sources to BI platforms (Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
  • Git version control and collaborative development practices
