Job description

Our offshore client is seeking a Warehouse & Yard Coordinator to join their team onsite in Providence, RI. Applicants must be eligible to work in the US and must live withing commutable distance from the area. We are looking for an eager person looking for a start in logistics and warehouse operations.


Contract: 6-12 months contract


Job Description:

  • Conduct all activities and tasks required for an efficient and effective storage yard, representative of our clients
  • Perform regular inspections on the storage yard and actively report the need for housekeeping or other corrective actions required for the yard to the Yard Manager.
  • Promote a safe and healthy working environment for all unit personnel and contractors/freelancers working within the Yard premises.
  • Assist the Yard Manager with identifying local subcontractors and suppliers
  • Monitor and control the stock levels in our equipment pool, including spares, rigging and lifting gear
  • Ensure the equipment and consumables are fit for purpose and stored in a correct and proper manner after each project
  • Responsible for proper equipment mobilization prior and demobilization after a project
  • Replace or delegate repair of damaged or faulty equipment and items
  • Keep all items in yard fit for purpose
  • Loading and unloading of trucks, restuffing containers as required for our clients
  • Execution of small maintenance tasks on the yard or in the warehouse (e.g. small pain jobs/tarpaulin installation on our assets etc.)


Job Requirements:

  • Basic computer skills (MS Office)
  • Forklift license or willing to obtain one
  • Eligible for a TWIC card
  • Good command of English language, both written and spoken
