The ideal candidate will have strong experience in large-scale Red Hat Linux environments, automation with Ansible, networking and security, virtualization, and load balancing and a proven ability to design, build, and support enterprise-grade platforms that enable secure, reliable, and performant application delivery. Responsibilities: Design and build enterprise Linux platforms, including cluster setup, capacity planning, and security hardening. Support full-stack application integration, performance management, and configuration management. Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks and roles for provisioning, configuration, and deployments. Perform advanced troubleshooting for hardware and software across platform and host levels. Manage networking, firewall configurations, kernel tuning, and security controls. Configure and support load balancers such as F5, AVI, and VMware solutions. Administer TLS certificates, formats, and certificate chains. Create and manage virtual machines using VMware. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and operate within Agile methodologies. Required Skills & Qualifications: 7+ years building and operating large-scale enterprise Linux clusters, including design, capacity, security, performance tuning, and monitoring. Experience supporting three-tier web application architectures. In-depth Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration expertise. Proficiency in networking, firewalls, kernel parameter tuning, and security concepts. Strong shell scripting capability. Hands-on Ansible automation for provisioning, configuration management, and deployments. Advanced troubleshooting across hardware and software layers. Knowledge of TLS certificates, formats, and certificate chain management. Experience with load balancers such as F5 and AVI, and VMware-based solutions. Experience creating and managing VMs in VMware environments. Track record delivering large, complex projects with cross-functional teams. Understanding of Agile software development practices. Preferred Skills: Containerization and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift. Enterprise databases: MySQL, Oracle, MariaDB, Microsoft SQL Server.
