Job description

Job Summary:
Lovevery is a fast-growing digitally native brand based in Boise, Idaho, dedicated to providing meaningful development experiences for children. The Manager, Creative Operations will ensure the smooth execution of creative projects by managing resources and coordinating team capacity while collaborating with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate across departments, creative, and production teams to provide quick turn resourcing solutions that support both bandwidth and talent of the individuals on the teams.
• Lead the sprint planning process and capacity planning meetings while keeping tabs on coverage gaps and proactively driving conversations with necessary team leaders and stakeholders to resolve outstanding issues.
• Manage requests via Asana platform, assigning resources to projects, ensuring time tracking, work back schedules, and targets are realized.
• Continuously monitor delivery timelines to adjust resource assignments when needed and forecast upcoming new assignments and projects.
• Maintain a comprehensive resource database, including an index of full time staff skills as well as an ever evolving bench of freelance support.
• Help flag and secure incremental support when needed, managing discussions with freelancers on availability, rates and projects.
• Help identify when work is trailing or flag concerns around timelines while proactively triaging project workflow hurdles as early as possible.
• Partner with creative and production to manage the team’s calendar for out of office individuals, ensuring coverage plans are set and flagging issues around high-volume out of the office times.
• Collaborate with the Creative Director and Director, Creative Production to ensure procedures are followed throughout the on-boarding and exit process of new staff & freelancers.
• Support streamlining workflows, supporting creative productivity and fostering interdepartmental collaboration.
• Continuously assess resource management efficiencies, researching new methodologies to evolve with the growing needs of the organization.
• As a conduit between the creative department and the company, this role works across all workstreams reconciling against objectives to confirm creatives receive clear project timelines, deliverables and understand priorities across all work streams.
• Support leads on resource forecasting, flagging capacity issues as far in advance as possible for incremental budget allocation.
• Support leaders on postmortem assessments and capacity planning initiatives.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Project Management, Marketing) or 5+ years in creative operations, project management, or a related role within the creative industry.
• Experience working within an agile framework and running sprint planning across multiple projects and types of talent on a creative and production team.
• An analytical mindset with a passion for all things creative.
• A solution-oriented approach to problem solving, with the ability to maintain composure under pressure in response to changing priorities.
• Ability to handle sensitive situations, information, and conversations with professionalism and confidentiality.
• The ability to juggle multiple projects with various deadlines in a high volume / high velocity environment.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Skilled in project management software and tools, knowledge of Asana required.
