Job description

Job Title:
Freelance Mine Site Auditor – Coal Supply Chain Due Diligence
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced professional to conduct independent, end-to-end assessments of coal suppliers to validate their operational capability and ability to deliver contracted volumes reliably.
This is a project-based / freelance opportunity suited for senior professionals with hands-on experience in coal mining operations, inspections, or supply chain due diligence.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct on-site assessments of coal mining operations, logistics, and port facilities
  • Verify supplier capability, production capacity, and operational readiness
  • Review permits, compliance, and regulatory documentation
  • Evaluate logistics chain (mine → transport → port → vessel)
  • Identify operational and commercial risks impacting supply continuity
  • Deliver clear, evidence-based reports with go/no-go recommendations
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in coal mining operations, inspections, or commodity due diligence
  • Strong understanding of coal supply chains and logistics
  • Experience with site audits, inspections, or operational assessments
  • Ability to work independently and provide objective, defensible conclusions
  • Background in Mining Engineering, Geology, Supply Chain, or related field preferred
Engagement Details:
